Privacy policy
We collect what you type into a form, and basic technical information about the visit. We use it to reply to you and to run the site. We do not sell it, and we do not pass your details to builders unless you have enquired about one of their homes. You can ask for a copy or ask us to delete it at any time.

Who we are
This site is operated by Everything Tiny Homes is a trading name of Kauri Ridge Holdings Limited, NZBN 9429050000017. We are the agency responsible for personal information collected through it, under the Privacy Act 2020.
What we collect
- What you type into a form. Depending on the form: your name, email, phone, region, what kind of home you are after, your budget band, your land situation, timing, and anything you write in a message box. For a builder enquiry, your business name, NZBN and what you have available.
- Purchase details, if you buy the guide. Your email and what you bought. Your card details go to Stripe and never reach us.
- Technical information about the visit. IP address, browser and device, the page you arrived on, the referring site, language and timezone, and an approximate location derived from the IP address by our hosting provider. Submitted forms carry a snapshot of this so we can tell a genuine enquiry from a bot.
- Analytics. Which pages are visited and which results the consent path checker produces, in aggregate.
The consent path checker itself runs entirely in your browser and does not ask for or transmit your answers. The only thing recorded is which of the results was shown.
Why we collect it
- To reply to your message, or to email you when a home matches what you asked for.
- To deliver and support the guide if you buy it, and to handle refunds.
- To pass an enquiry to the builder whose home you have enquired about — and only that builder.
- To understand which pages help people, so we know what to write next.
- To keep spam out and to meet our legal and tax obligations.
We do not sell your information, we do not sell enquiries as leads, and we do not send marketing you did not ask for. If you joined a waitlist, you get emails about that waitlist and nothing else.
Who else sees it
Only the providers we need to run the site, and only for that purpose:
- Vercel — hosting. Serves the site and logs requests.
- Notion — where form submissions and orders are stored so we can act on them.
- Stripe — payment processing, if you buy the guide. Stripe handles your card details directly; we never see them.
- Resend — sending the emails we reply with.
- PostHog — analytics.
- A builder— only where you have enquired about that builder's home, and only the details needed to answer you.
Information going overseas
Some of those providers store information outside New Zealand, including in the United States and the European Union. Before disclosing personal information overseas we take reasonable steps to be satisfied the recipient protects it with comparable safeguards to the Privacy Act 2020, as information privacy principle 12 requires. By using our forms you understand your information may be stored and processed overseas by the providers listed above.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and waitlist entries: while they are still useful for the purpose you gave them, and then we delete them. Purchase records: as long as tax and business records law requires. Ask us to delete something sooner and we will, unless we are legally required to keep it.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is wrong. Ask through the contact page or email hello@everything-tiny-homes.co.nz. We will respond within 20 working days.
If you are not happy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use a session identifier stored in your browser so a form submission can be linked to the visit it came from, and analytics cookies from PostHog. Blocking them will not stop you using the site. The checker works with no storage at all.
Security
We keep what we collect to a minimum, and we do not store card details anywhere — Stripe handles those. Access to submissions is limited to the people who need it to reply to you. No system is perfectly secure, and if something goes wrong that is likely to cause you serious harm, we will tell you and the Privacy Commissioner as the Privacy Act requires.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top tells you when it last changed.
